Thaís Machado, a Brazilian art-vist now based in Berlin, interweaves architecture and art to delve into the complexities of identity, belonging, and tangible and intangible power structures. Her research extends across landscapes, time, and organisms, through the perspective of environmental intersectionality. Guided by the lens of decolonial practices, Thais’s works uncover paths for social empowerment, believing in art as a tool that goes beyond aesthetics. Her diverse portfolio encompasses sculptures, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and seminars.
