Isadora Canela is a brazilian artvist from the mined city of Brumadinho. Her research is guided by the ideas of decolonization of thought, land, peoples and bodies in the context of the Anthropocene, and she is searching for other possible imaginaries from the perspective of dialogues and community building. Her artistic practice plays with organic, technological and industrial elements. She has been reaching international impact with projects claiming for horizontality and collective creation of a shared future. She has been participating in exhibitions, conferences artist residencies in Berlin, Munich, Croatia, São Paulo, South Africa, such as the Documenta Summerschool in Kassel 2022.
