Elsa Cuissard (she/her) has an academic background in philosophy, sociology and political sciences and studied in France, Germany, South Africa and India. She brings experience in research and project management gained in international contexts, through assisting the work of a journalist and writer, and later working in migration and displacement research.

Seeking to understand the contemporary challenges our societies are faced with, and searching for emancipatory ways of relating and living, she is inspired by creative and interdisciplinary approaches, environmental intersectionality and decolonial perspectives. She is involved in several related projects in Berlin, Germany as well as in France, Croatia and South Africa.
